Committee Function

This committee’s function is to consider and make recommendations to the Senate on educational policy questions, which are not wholly within the purview of the various schools’ faculties and the independent units. Questions addressed include but are not limited to the creation, restructuring, elimination, and location of departments, schools, centers, and institutes. It shall consist of a Senate Vice-Chair as chair, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, ex-officio but without a vote, the Vice President for Administration, ex-officio but without a vote, and five or more additional faculty members approved by the Senate.
